Hay is a freelance Maya character TD/generalist and 2d illustrator based in NYC. As her mother will tell you, she won her first (and most recent) artistic award at the age of two, and has been drawing ever since. More recently, she has been learning to live with Maya, which is truly a great blend of the artistic and technical.

i'm not a web designer (can you tell?), but since it took more than 15 min. to get wordpress working, i am sticking to html for now. On the other hand, google sites didn't take more than 15 min. to figure out, so I've started, for anyone who may be interested, a maya rigging wiki. It's mainly just to collect my own personal notes and thoughts gleaned from cgtalk, tds' websites and other various places, but maybe it will be of some use to the small (exclusive!) number of poor souls who stumble across my site. I don't think other people can just edit it, like a real wiki, but if you want to contribute, you can email me entries or something.
Frequent visitors will also notice the new design of this 'news' page, where due to heavy demand, I have added the links, like in real blogs.

happy new year. this weekend i went to tochiki-ken, near nikko, to go to an onsen (hot spring). Here is a picture of the bento:
